A couple of weeks ago I attended the launch of The Filigree Lewisham Sky Home, which is a stunning show home on top of a new development, and it has been decked out with artwork from over 100 artists and creators from the Lewisham area.
The project is in partnership with Shapes Lewisham and Get Living and the aim was to celebrate the borough of Lewisham’s vibrant personality and diverse community.
I’m delighted they purchased one of my Deptford Pink prints, as this is one of my favourite pieces I have made recently, and celebrates the local area of Deptford, where my studio, Deptford Foundry (part of Second Floor Studios) is based.

Famous Sights of London tea towel by Garudio Studiage
It was great to see it on show, alongside art and design by other local artists, including some of my fellow studio residents, and also a couple of Garudio Studiage’s things (in my other hat, I am co-director of!).
The views were stunning from the 29th floor of the building, where the flat was, where you could admire vistas across Blackheath and Greenwich, as well as birds eye views of Lewisham.
