Shortlisted for Hogarth Art Prize

I’m over the moon to have been shortlisted for the Hogarth Art Prize exhibition with my colour pencil drawing of pest control items ‘Death Row’.

It has been popular this one, it seems to resonate with current climate and environmental concerns, which is something that occupies my mind constantly (especially as I sit in the midst of yet another heatwave as I write this).

The prize honours William Hogarth’s keen observational eye, technical skill, and rebellious spirit, and I couldn’t be more pleased that the judges Robyn Graham (gallerist and curator,), Hero Johnson RP (artist), and Steven King (artist and Hogarth Prize coordinator) saw this in my drawing.

The Hogarth Art Prize exhibition runs from 28 July to 6 September 2026

Hogarth House, Hogarth Lane, Chiswick, London W4 2QN.

From around 1,500 entries, 70 works by 56 UK-based artists were shortlisted for the exhibition.

Prizes include £3,000 and a solo exhibition at Hogarth’s House, plus a £500 Visitors’ Choice Award voted for by the public. Well that would be nice!

I hope you get to visit when it opens.
